For SkyWAN® customers, Network Engineering and Design Services are offered in well contained work-packages. |

| Here, the focus is on designing quality satellite communication solutions using commercial off-the-shelf components where available. Of course, our expert teams work continuously at the leading edge of satellite communications technology and implement new trends within our solutions whenever possible. Where customer or market requirements and expectations cannot be met by available COTS offerings, ND SatCom designs, develops and markets its own components, subsystems and software solutions. These products can, of course, be easily customized to meet the exact customer requirements. |

| A basic SkyWAN network design takes into account the end-user's traffic and connectivity requirements and considers aspects such as link budget, required network capacity, required network performance and traffic flows. In the second phase, an in-depth analysis considers traffic prioritization, data/voice address plans and attached customer equipment as well as network management aspects. In many cases, a network design needs to cater for special customer-furnished equipment or individual application requirements. The result is a detailed network design including the configuration parameters of the various network nodes. |
