Disaster Management includes the early recognition and warning of potential threats to the network. This involves the continuous communication with dozens or hundreds of remote sites, each having seismic, sonar, or other detection equipment in place.
SkyARCS is the solution for connecting a large number of sites to an early warning centre. It can transport either continuous streams of data from the equipment at the remote locations to the central site, or stored data which the central site requests from one or more selected locations.
Through the forward link system SkyARCS enables the communication with all remote sites including issuing management commands or, for example, software updates.
