Telemedicine encompasses the communication between remote task forces engaged in on-site medical support and the medical experts in various hospitals. Diagnostic data, images, and live videos can be transmitted between two locations or in a multi-location conference session.
Access to logistics information and to information regarding hospital and medical resources is required. The communication in this case takes place between multiple parties involved in the management of an event, and it must be effective and reliable.
SkyWAN provides this connectivity between the user and application equipment, data bases, video and phones at the various locations. Communication with mobile sites is also taken care of. ND SatCom does not only supply the communications network, but also the appropriate terminal types, whether fixed, mobile, maritime or portable. We are prepared to ensure the interoperability with the customer equipment and the communications between the customer equipment at the respective sites.
The network is adaptive to changing communications requirements and is highly reliable due to its unique redundancy features.
