SkyARCS is the solution of choice for IP-based communication and access networks in a star-topology environment. With its central hub and small low-cost remotes, it is an ideal network system for providing IP connectivity.
It is a modular, scalable, high-performance satellite IP network solution, fully compliant with ETSI/DVB standard DVB-RCS (EN 301 790). The technology provides instant bandwidth-on-demand through its fully dynamic bandwidth reservation and allocation system with various traffic classes. return link capacity is automatically assigned to stations requiring transmission capacity when they need it, and released to be used by other terminals when it is no longer required. This technology allows maximum utilization of valuable space capacity.
