Innovative Communication Systems are becoming more and more complex. For this reason ND SatCom complements its service package with an intensive training program using the most modern methods to ensure a top-of-class orientation in the new communications world.

Regular trainings are held in our Product Training Center in Friedrichshafen, but we also offer training courses at your site.

Course CataloguE

The prerequisites to our standard product courses are compliant to either GVF level 1 or GVF Level 2. These prerequisites are also covered by our own fundamental courses.

The ND SatCom Academy course catalogue is focused on the following product groups:

SkyWAN® VSAT networks (IDU 7000 / 5000 / 2xx0) Overview
SkyARCS DVB-RCS networks Overview
Broadcast Systems / SNG vehicles / Component Overview

Training collaboration with Global VSAT Forum (GVF)

The ND SatCom Academy cooperates with GVF focusing on VSAT station
installation (For further details see our press release).

The ND SatCom “SkyWAN Station Commissioner” course provides internationally standardized knowledge and skills for a VSAT station installer. Passing our “SkyWAN Station Comissioner Certification Course” a common and exchangeable certification for a worldwide base of VSAT installers is obtained (equals GVF level 3).

ND SatCom is also certified to run standard level 3S classroom courses on behalf of GVF at certain locations.
